ABSTRACT:
A layered material containing a buffer and optionally containing an adsorbent. The material may also include a vapor barrier. The material is used for the preservation of archival documents and objects.
A container configured to permit the long term storage of documents without slippage of the documents or resulting deformation may also be made from the material.
