ABSTRACT:
A threaded coupling in which a first disc element is formed with a discontinuous internal thread and a second disc element is formed with a cooperable discontinuous external thread. The coupling includes a mounting plate element juxtaposed adjacent the disc element. Aligned openings are provided in the plate, disc and mounting block elements. A stud element completes the coupling and is rotatably mounted within the opening in the mounting block element but is provided with a depending projection which engages within the opening in the disc element. Rotation of the stud element thus threads the disc element into the plate element to provide a unitary assembly. Rotation of the stud element in the other direction unthreads the disc element and uncouples the assembly.
