ABSTRACT:
This invention provides a method of preparing fluoropolymer utilizing one or more environmentally-friendly fluorinated emulsifiers comprising .alpha.-branched fluoroalkylcarbonyl moieties. Fluoropolymer emulsions comprising one or more environmentally-friendly fluorinated emulsifiers comprising .alpha.-branched fluoroalkylcarbonyl moieties are also disclosed.
