ABSTRACT:
An aqueous dispersion comprising at least one of the UV absorbing compounds of the following formulae I, II or III as below defined: A--B (I); A--C--A (II); or B--A--B (III); wherein in Formula (I) and (II) ##STR1## and in Formula III, A is ##STR2## Y being a direct bond, a substitute C.sub.1-4 alkylene group, ##STR3## and R.sub.1 to R.sub.5 independently of each other are hydrogen; C.sub.4-4 alkyl, the alkyl optionally being substituted; aryl; heterocyclyl; or any two of R.sub.1 to R.sub.5 which are adjacent, together form part of a ring, with the proviso that no more than four of R.sub.1 to R.sub.5 are hydrogen.
