ABSTRACT:
An aqueous dispersion of a cationic polymer is disclosed, which is obtained by reacting an ethylene copolymer comprising from 40 to 80% by weight of ethylene and from 20 to 60% by weight of at least one aminoalkyl acrylamide comonomer represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 each represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms; and n represents an integer of from 2 to 4,
