ABSTRACT:
Aqueous coating composition, containing
I) one or more amine hardeners,
II) one or more water-dilutable epoxy resins,
III) one or more pigments and/or fillers and
IV) water and optionally one or more solvents and/or conventional lacquer additives,
wherein the composition of the coating composition is selected in such a way that a hardened free film formed from the coating composition with a coat thickness between 30 and 80 .mu.m has a storage modulus E' of 10.sup.8 Pa to 5.times.10.sup.9 Pa in a temperature range from -50.degree. C. to 150.degree. C.
