ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to an aqueous bleaching agent with cleaning action, containing an alkali metal hypochlorite, an alkaline agent, and one or more compounds of the general formula R-(OCH.sub.2 CH.sub.2).sub.x OCH.sub.2 COOM, where R represents an alkyl group with 8-18 carbon atoms, x a number with an average value of 0.5-8 and a narrow distribution of the average value and M an alkali metal atom.
