ABSTRACT:
An apparatus and system for cleaning an aquarium viewing surface involving a sweeping mechanism that includes a cleaning surface (such as a cleaning belt) and a drive mechanism that causes the sweeping mechanism to traverse the viewing surface on a regular basis to bring the cleaning surface in contact with the viewing surface to clean the viewing surface of, for example, unwanted algae.
