ABSTRACT:
A device560, for administering multiple single doses of a medicated cream, includes a cartridge562having a barrel564for containing the cream, a plunger608for moving the cream from within the cartridge, and a stem610for moving the plunger within the cartridge. A carrier612is formed with a cartridge-receiving nest712for receiving the barrel564. A plurality of spaced, transaxial grooves726, 728, 730and732are formed in the carrier612for receiving a flange572of the cartridge562during the dispensing of multiple, successive, single doses of the cream. The carrier612is formed with a pair of resilient ears750and752and a passage738for removably retaining the stem610with the carrier while allowing axial movement of the stem.
