ABSTRACT:
A new and distinct variety of Jonagold apple tree, ‘Lentz Jonagold,’ originating as a limb mutation of theMalus domesticavariety of ‘Rubinstar’ (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 7,167). This new variety is unique from its parent and other Jonagold cultivars in the early coloration of the fruit, the high percentage of coloration of the fruit and the red coloration of the leaf petiole and mid-vein.
