ABSTRACT:
Medical waste material is sealed in a nonflammable and long infrared radiation pervious film bag. The bag is subjected to long infrared radiation by an apparatus for a sufficient period of time at sterilizing temperature levels. Any smoke and odor generated during sterilization is treated.
