ABSTRACT:
An apparatus for measuring a wide range of particle sizes in of a sample fluid with two separate light sources is provided. The individual light sources can be compensated to take into account any variations in transmission factors through the sample fluid prior to calculating the particle size distribution. Additionally, any fluctuations in the light source can also be measured to provide a compensation factor for the measured light intensities.
