ABSTRACT:

An aperture is formed in the supporting material and the socket or stud of the fastener, as the case may be, is allowed to project through the aperture. The supporting material is then heat sealed to the fastener around the aperture. Preferably, both the supporting material and the snap fasteners are made of heatsealable, thermoplastic material.
