ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for producing three-dimensional curvilinear tubes. The apparatus comprises (a) a tube producing die having an axi-symmetric inner surface for passing tube material therethrough; (b) a core member having an axi-symmetrical outer surface and disposed in the die in a spaced relation to the inner surface of the die so that the tube producing material passes between a gap defined by the inner surface of the die and the outer surface of the core member; and (c) positioning devices for positioning the die in offset relation to the core member in a plane perpendicular to an axis of the die.
