ABSTRACT:
The freeze-drying of products, like foodstuffs or pharmaceuticals, and more particularly to a method and apparatus by which a plurality of containers is serially fed with a dosed amount of a first product after which the containers are passed in heat exchange relationship with a freezing bath and then further dosed amounts of different products are layered onto the firstly metered product and singularly pre-frozen, by passing through the same freezing bath.
