ABSTRACT:
A method and apparatus for nuclear logging is presented. In accordance with the present invention, a radioactive source is mounted within the sub wall in alignment with the radiation detectors and orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the sub. In addition, a novel radioactive source container and insertion tool is disclosed.
