A honeycomb structure molding apparatus1having a spinneret4provided with a back pore part3for introducing a molding material and a slit part2for extruding the molding material, and a press plate5for fixing the spinneret4, in which the spinneret4comprises an inner side part11and an outer peripheral part12, the inner side part11is protruded to the downstream side to form a level difference part15between the inner side part11and the outer peripheral part15, the press plate5is opened opposing the inner side part12of the spinneret4and presses the downstream side of the outer peripheral part12of the spinneret4through a gap part7, and there is provided a gap adjusting means130capable of changing width of the gap of the gap part7.
