ABSTRACT:
Apparatus for measuring the filling level of a liquid in a container comprising a transmitting device1which emits ultrasound transmission pulses, a receiving device2which receives the echo signals reflected at the surface of the liquid and an evaluation device8which evaluates the transit times of the ultrasound transmission pulses and echo signals, wherein arranged at a given spacing relative to the transmitting/receiving device1,2is a reflector3which reflects the ultrasound transmission pulses in the direction of the surface of the liquid and also reflects the echo signals coming from the surface of the liquid in the direction of the receiving device2.
