ABSTRACT:
A portable apparatus which enables the user to measure his pulse rate and pulmonary volume during exercise comprises a single case equipped with a neck cord and comprising all of the elements necessary for taking such measurements, i.e., a mouth-piece into which to exhale, a switch, an electro-optical display, means for measuring the volume of exhaled air, pulse sensing means, electronic circuits and batteries.
