ABSTRACT:
Apparatus and methods are provided for making a continuous chain of interengaged loops, preferably of molded synthetic plastic, which employs a plurality of sets of separable dies with loop forming cavities which are preferably in planes at 90.degree. to form a length of interengaged links, certain dies of each set being advanced to advance the chain, and returned to the beginning for subsequent advance, provision being made for formation of a link engaging an end link of a previously formed link of a length of interengaged links and for making links of the chain of different colors.
