ABSTRACT:
A recording device for reproducing an image from an original onto a recording medium as a visible image. The device includes a mounting table for supporting the original and a feeding device for feeding the original onto the mounting table. A detector device detects the arrival of the original at a predetermined position on the mounting table, and recording apparatus then records the information from the original onto a recording sheet. Recording is initiated by an instruction device in response to an output from the detector. A conveyor for the recording sheet then carries the recording sheet along a discharge path wherein a folding device is selectably operable to move the sheet against a stopping device to impart a fold to the sheet, whereupon the sheet is discharged to a tray in a folded or unfolded state.
