ABSTRACT:
In two of the three phases of a synchronous machine, the feeding or driving current is measured. During 240.degree. of an operating cycle of the synchronous machine, a reference signal is generated which is proportional to the measured current of one or the other of the feeding signals, whereas during the remaining 120.degree. the magnitude of the sum of the feeding currents of the two phases constitute the reference signal.
