ABSTRACT:
An extrusion die mounted in a die holder is fitted onto the end of the press stem of an extrusion press by apparatus which has a swing arm which receives a die holder in a first position, then pivots to a second position where the die holder is aligned with the extrusion press stem, rotates the die holder so that it is correctly oriented relative to the press stem and then pushes the die holder axially onto the press stem.
