ABSTRACT:
Apparatus and method for distributing powdered material uniformly in a generally vertical plane through an arc of about 180.degree., having particular utility for rock dusting underground coal mine tunnels. A pair of rotatable impeller means discharge entrained powdered material through a pair of housings each having oppositely disposed arcuate openings subtending an arc of about 120.degree.. Generally vertical panels on each side of the impellers guide the discharged material.
