ABSTRACT:
An apparatus for damping courses of motion between two bodies in which a dynamic wheel load (C.sub.r) can be reduced by intervention in a damping element of a frequency-dependent increase in the passive spring rigidity of a spring element, in order to vary the dynamic wheel loads in the direction of a reduction. The apparatus is intended for use in on-road vehicles.
