ABSTRACT:
An apparatus for creating acoustic oscillations in a running liquid medium comprising a stator in the form of a hollow cylinder and a rotor mounted coaxially therewith and comprising a cylinder with closed ends. One of the ends of the rotor has an opening for admitting the liquid medium into the internal space of the rotor which is closed. Rows of apertures are made in the peripheral surface of the rotor and stator, the width of the apertures in the cross-section being selected on the basis of the relationship ##EQU1## wherein .omega.
