ABSTRACT:
An electrophotographic printing machine in which extraneous liquid developer material on a photoconductive belt is substantially removed therefrom by a cleaning roller. A backup roller is rotatively coupled to the cleaning roller with the photoconductive belt being interposed therebetween. The rollers are pressed into contact with the photoconductive belt. Either the photoconductive belt or backup roller are moved with movement of one frictionally moving the other. In this way, the cleaning roller and the belt move with the extraneous liquid material being removed fom the belt.
