ABSTRACT:
Apparatus for assembling a two-part connector with an interposed cable, which apparatus comprises a pair of relatively movable press elements, a storage magazine for containing a plurality of connectors, structure for moving a connector from the magazine to an operative position between the respective press elements, structure for actuating at least one of the press elements to achieve crimping of the connector and an interposed cable, when the connector is in the operative position, and a control system for selectively causing indexing of the storage magazine, movement of a connector into the operating position and crimping movement of the press elements.
