ABSTRACT:
The assembly machine of the present invention automatically assembles chain elements into a continuous chain at a high speed. The machine automatically aligns and assembles elements into assembled relation and includes structure for aligning a pair of side links with a first center link, structure for assembling a first pin in assembled relationship with the pair of side links and first center link, structure for aligning a second center link with said pair of side links, structure for assembling a second pin in assembled relationship with the pair of side links and second center link, and structure for advancing assembled chain elements.
