ABSTRACT:
The disclosure relates to an apparatus for assembling a seat for use in an automobile. The seat assembling apparatus comprises a rotary table which is horizontally rotatable; first and second setting tables which are mounted on the rotary table and on which a seat slider or a seat is placed in position; a rotation locking mechanism for locking the rotary table at a predetermined rotational position thereof; a locking mechanism for locking the seat cushion frame on the first setting table; a widening
arrowing mechanism for varying the distance between the plates of the first setting table; and an upward/downward pivoting mechanism for pivoting the second setting table according to the height of the seat cushion frame.
