ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for synchronizing frame and detecting code group
umber that is useful for an initial cell search of an asynchronous IMT-2000 system. To this end, the present invention discloses a method for synchronizing frame and detecting code group
umber, including the steps of: synchronizing a slot at the time of a system booting, wherein the system obtains time offsets by using at least two despreaders with different timings from each other; detecting energies and time offsets based on the designated position of the slot timing; and detecting frame synchronization and code group
umber by using the detected energies and information.
