ABSTRACT:
An apparatus for mounting a circuit board assembly to an electronic chassis is provided. A circuit board assembly includes a circuit board operatively attached to a bracket member having a first end and a second end. A first connector member is rotatably attached to the first end, and a second connector member is rotatably attached to the second end. The first connector member includes a first hook portion and a first handle portion. The second connector member includes a second hook portion and a second handle portion. The first and second hook portions each include a first surface and a second surface oriented at an angle to the first surface. The first surface of the first hook portion contacts with a first spring and the first surface of the second hook portion contacts with a second spring to orient the first and second connectors in an insertion position. The second surface of the first hook portion contacts with the first spring and the second surface of the second hook portion contacts with the second spring to orient the first and second connector members in an intermediate position and a locked position.
