ABSTRACT:
An apparatus for controlling PAPR in an OFDM communication system and method thereof are disclosed, by which implementation is simplified and enhanced PAPR characteristics are provided. The present application includes outputting GNbdata symbols by oversampling Nbparallel data symbols, spreading the oversampled data symbols using DFT, and mapping the spread signal to subcarriers.
