ABSTRACT:
The use of some semisynthetic derivatives of the antifungal polyene partricin to selectively hinder the growth of tumor cells is here described. Their use can be associated with the use of other known antineoplastic agents, in particular in the cases where a resistance to these agents is present or has developed.
The invention can be applied to systems of cell cultures as well as to the therapeutic practice.
