ABSTRACT:
The present invention teaches an antitheft device whereby an arming mode can be appropriately set when a remote operation for instructing to start an engine is conducted, comprising a section for setting the arming mode when a time T1(e.g. 20–30 seconds) elapsed after receiving a door locking operation and a section for setting the arming mode when a time T2(e.g. 2 seconds), being shorter than the time T1, elapsed after receiving a remote operation for instructing to start the engine.
