ABSTRACT:
A polymer mixture comprising
(a) a base resin selected from the group consisting of polyphenylene ether resins and polyphenylene ether modified with alkenyl aromatic resins; and
(b) an amount of antistatic agent effective for improving the antistatic character of said polymer mixture wherein said antistatic agent is a compound of the formula R--SO.sub.3 X, where R is an alkyl or aralkyl radical having 5 to 25 carbon atoms and X is an alkali metal.
