ABSTRACT:
Novel furan ketone derivatives having antiretrovirus activity and effective in a method of treatment of a retrovirus infection, have the formula ##STR1## wherein Y represents a bond, oxygen or divalent sulfur; Ar represents phenyl or naphthylenyl; n is 0 or 1; m is an integer of from 4 to 10; and R.sub.1 represents C.sub.1-6 alkyl.
