ABSTRACT:
The invention is concerned with novel antioxidants, namely the [R] and, respectively, [S] compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 together represent the --S(O)-- group and R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 represent hydrogen, or R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 together represent the --S(O)-- group and R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 represent hydrogen.
