Compound having antimicrobial activity having the formula ##STR1## wherein R is (C.sub.1 -C.sub.18)alkyl, (C.sub.3 -C.sub.8)cycloalkyl, (C.sub.6 -C.sub.18)aryl, (C.sub.7 -C.sub.18)aralkyl, or (C.sub.7 -C.sub.18)alkaryl,
provided that aryl or the aryl portion of said aralkyl or alkaryl are optionally substituted with halo or methyl; and
