ABSTRACT:
A vehicle wheel speed sensor includes a rotor and a stator. The rotor is annularly provided to rotate adjacent and relative to an axle. The stator is mounted on the axle. A point sensor is included in the stator for providing pole pieces 180.degree. diametrically opposed and directed radially outwardly toward and in radial alignment with the annular rotor for proximate electrical association therewith.
