ABSTRACT:
3,4-Dihydro(or 1,4-dihydro)-2-[(substituted)thio]-[1]benzopyrano[3,4-d]imidazoles and their corresponding sulfoxides and sulfones, such as 7,8-dichloro-3,4-dihydro(or 1,4-dihydro)-2-[(1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethyl)sulfonyl]-[1]benzopyrano[3,4-d]i midazole, are useful in the treatment of inflammation.
