ABSTRACT:
Described are compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.2 -R.sub.8 independently of one another denote hydrogen, loweralkyl, phenyl, alkoxy, halo, hydroxy, nitro, trifluoromethyl, ##STR2## with the proviso that at least one but no more than one of the substituents R.sub.2 -R.sub.8 is ##STR3## and with the further provisos that at least four of the substituents R.sub.2 -R.sub.8 are hydrogen and R.sub.2 cannot be ##STR4## when R.sub.3 -R.sub.8 are hydrogen, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
The compounds are effective as antiinflammatory and antiasthma agents.
