Antihypertensive piperazineethylidenebenzocycloalkanes are provided. These compounds have the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are independently C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy, hydroxy, or halo, or R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 or R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 together can form a methylenedioxy bridge;
