ABSTRACT:
In an antifriction-bearing throwout, particularly for automotive clutches, a clutch bearing with a non-rotating bearing-ring abuts in a radially slidable manner against a thrust plate of a sliding sleeve and is held in the centered position.
To facilitate centering of the clutch bearing in relation to the tongue ends of the clutch diaphragm-spring, and to prevent slip-through of the clutch bearing in the case of shock as by hard road-bumps, the non-rotating bearing-ring is arranged in a manner such that, overcoming a radially-acting friction force in relation to sliding sleeve, it can tilt in a circumferential direction, within certain limits, and can slide in a radial direction along two guide-surfaces that run parallel to one another.
