ABSTRACT:
A substantially anhydrous oral composition is disclosed which is substantially devoid of normally staining antibacterial antiplaque agents and which contains an effective anticalculus amount of a bis(o-carboxyphenyl) ester of a C.sub.2-8 aliphatic dicarboxylic acid such as bis(o-carboxyphenyl) succinate.
