ABSTRACT:
This invention describes the production of bivalent linear F(ab').sub.2 fragments comprising tandem repeats of a heavy chain fragment V.sub.H -C.sub.H 1-V.sub.H -C.sub.H 1 cosecreted with two light chains, so as to form two functional antigen binding sites, wherein both the C-terminus of the first C.sub.H 1 is directly joined by a peptide bond to the N-terminus of the second V.sub.H.
