ABSTRACT:
The invention is concerned with novel thiocolchicine derivatives of formula: ##STR1## wherein Z is H or the group ##STR2## wherein R is an organic radical. The derivative wherein Z is H is prepared by hydrolyzing thiocolchicine in an aqueous acidic medium and those wherein Z is ##STR3## is prepared by reacting the derivative wherein Z is H with a compound of formula RCOX or ##STR4## The derivative wherein R is an adamantyl group has therapeutical properties.
