ABSTRACT:
An antenna providing easy and effective mounting procedures onto a wireless device for mobile communications and highly reliable electrical connections. The antenna contains insulating resin-made core11that is generally formed into a rectangular parallelepiped, and metallic thin-plate antenna element12from which feeding terminal12A and joint sections12C are extended. Antenna element12is disposed on top surface11F, side surface11B, and bottom surface11G of core11. Antenna element12is then fixed to core11by caulking at caulking projections11A formed on the top surface of core11. Feeding terminal12A is bent to have L-shaped tip12B on side surface11D; similarly, joint sections12C are bent to have L-shaped tips12D on side surfaces11C and11E. These tips are bent at the same level according to the thickness of a wiring board to be soldered.
