ABSTRACT:
A seal assembly for an annular joint, comprising an outer ring, an inner g and an intervening membrane. The entire assembly is screwed into place as a one-step operation. Threads on the rings have the same pitch to preclude or minimize excessive axial advancement of one ring relative to the other ring during the seal installation operation.
