ABSTRACT:
An annular electromagnetic induction pump is disclosed which operates without an external cooling source in pumping molten metals such as magnesium, aluminum, lead, zinc, antimony and their numerous alloys. Also disclosed is an electrical insulation material which is serviceable without degradation at temperatures up to 1500.degree. F. Also disclosed is a six coil version of said annular electromagnetic induction pump which provides reduced size advantages.
